Our state of the art workshop caters for all types and all ages of vehicles. For modern engine management vehicles we use Bosch and Autodiagnose equipment to help us diagnose the faults and rectify them.Our extensive range and contacts allow us to supply and fit most modern engine management parts from a water temperature sensor, through stepper motors right up to complete throttle bodies, air mass meters and ECUs. Just give us a call to discuss your problems.
For classic vehicles we have over 30 years of experience tuning them to help us. Our comprehensive and unequalled stores carry most parts we will ever need sort your classic Weber, SU, Zenith or Solex carburetters. Whether it's an Austin 7 with just 1 carburetter or A Lamborghini Muira with 6 Webers on it we are the place for you.You won't believe how well your car can run until it's been SCI'd!

It's now over 18 years since carburettors have been fitted to cars in the UK and almost as long since many garage technicians have seen a carb let alone tried to tune one. Combine that with an old fashioned ignition system and you have a recipe for disaster. Peter our tuner has been with us for over 30 years and if he can't tune it then nobody can. CARBURETTER RECONDITIONING

Southern Carburetters & Injection produce some of the finest reconditioned carburetters in the country. This is shown by the number of Classic Car Specialists that choose us to recondition their custmers carburetters.
We recondition most of the following; SU, Zenith, Solex, Weber and Dellorto.
We begin by stripping the carburetter down to the last nut and bolt. We then ultrasonically clean them, then give them a gentle blast clean, reface the flanges to make them flat again. After that we sort the spindle wear and reassemble with all new or plated parts, in the case of an SU that would include new jet, metering needle and needle valve. To finish the job off we can polish the dashpots if requested at the time of order.
